Here's another picture. Long story short, Hayden was offered a chance to hunt a private farm up in TN the last couple youth hunts up there. The first sit, we didn't see a thing. Saw a doe at 300 yards later that morning, but bucks only and that's all we were after. Then a second trip up there, he grazed a huge buck at 250 yards. Buck fever and not the best rest for shooting. When heading back to the farmhouse later that morning, a massive buck was spotted up a hill at 200+ yards. This time he tried to shoot propped up on a barbwire fence and had about 4 puppies jumping on his back while trying to squeeze the trigger. Clean miss.

He was invited back this youth weekend for redemption. That second buck was still around and was massive. Hayden saw several does early in the morning and passed on a 3-pointer. Then shot the bobcat. Then had a decent 8 at 100+ yards, but never had an ethical shot. The buck he killed was fairly anticlimactic. Hayden saw it behind the shooting house. He got the gun out the back window and shot it at probably 25 yards. Deer ran 25 yards.
