What do you guys think about this scope? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0888W3F5...ZRLJN&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_itI took a new Burris Fullfield II to the range that I paid $100 for and put on my Henry 30/30 and I was surprised to see that it was better than my Leupold VX Freedom that I have on my Bergara 308. Mainly because I needed the extra focal plane because I don't hunt with my glasses on. The Leupold was a little blurry at max magnification (3-9x40) at 100 yards. My only other option in this price point would be the Meopta entry level. I am considering this for a Tikka T3X in 6.5 Creed. I have a Vortex Diamondback on it now but haven't been very impressed with it. I think Vortex is over rated honestly.

Yes I think vortex is over rated also.ive had both a Burris fullfield and a Leupold freedom but I never compared side by side.ive sold them as of now but both where decent hunting Scopes. I think vortex diamondback and Burris fullfield are made at same factory though.
I think meopta scopes are alot of bang for the buck.
Also check out maven scopes.newer Japanese made scopes crs 3-12x40 model.same price point as meopta optika 5 and should be very comparable glass.

Honestly I'd skip that scope on your link.alot better scopes available for same money
Euro optic still has those trijicon scopes for a little over $500 also.they are $800+ everywhere else

If you're going to buy from Eurooptic it's best to call them directly and not buy through Amazon. You can probably get a better price.

My personal opinion is you can get a lot more scope than that for a little more money. I never realized the difference in quality glass until I bit the bullet and got up to the $1k mark. Redhawk Rifles has some good deals on demo Zeiss. I picked up a used Meopta R1 at Marks for 700 out the door. With all that said I won't buy another scope and not look through one first.

My personal opinion is you can get a lot more scope than that for a little more money. I never realized the difference in quality glass until I bit the bullet and got up to the $1k mark. Redhawk Rifles has some good deals on demo Zeiss. I picked up a used Meopta R1 at Marks for 700 out the door. With all that said I won't buy another scope and not look through one first. Problem with that is I have no place near me to actually look through a Meopta or some other Euro brand. Everyone has Leupold and Vortex. I have to go with advice from you guy's.

Yes, they can be tough to find but $ for $, I do not think you get more for your money. Every Meopta optic I answer questions about is one I have used in the field, purchased, or borrowed. I have yet to have any issues with a Meopta optic in the field, at the range, or in a competition. Going with a company known for its quality of glass is a no-brainer in my book. My older eyes need all the extra help they can get, especially in low-light situations. For hunting, don't over look the Optika5 series of scopes, 3-15x44 is a great magnification choice.

i just bought another used Meopta Meopro, to my eyes, they are the best value in scopes. These are great scopes for the $. I’ve got a couple and they’re as good as you’ll get at the price point. I have the duplex reticles and wish they made one like the old Leupold heavy duplex. I sat behind my house today with my 30-30 that has open sights. Once I couldn’t see with those anymore I ran inside and grabbed my 7mag with a 44mm Meopro and watched over the pasture in front of my house. Only had 10 minutes or so of legal light when I sat down but was able to see clear as day watching a group of does feed for more than 20 mins past legal. I realize that’s in the open but it’s still stellar performance.

GPO and Minox are two more who compare with Meopta and Zeiss, in certain lines. If you’re gonna look at Vortex, you have to look above the Diamondback line….viper to razor.

Just bought my second one of these. I'm not saying its the best but I shopped around and I couldnt find anything better for the price of $649 (scope, tax & shipping). Do your homework on scopes, you can be very sad when you get your new scope if you dont. FOV, Eye Relief and Exit Pupil were my things to consider besides the premium glass. I was a Leupold guy for a long time until I hunted with a friends gun. I'm Burris from here on out until they prove me wrong. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/18ffBra.jpg)

When I can buy a Zeiss V4 for similar $, I’m probably not going to pick the Burris. If I can buy the Burris for half the $, then it starts to become attractive. I’ve got Burris scopes I like for their $ vs performance, but their higher end stuff doesn’t push me off of other, proven stuff….in the same $ range. If paying more than $600 for glass, you better be getting better glass, as reliable adjustments and durability don’t add a lot of cost to an optic….at least vs good glass and lens arrangements and reticles.
