I’ve used our heater body suit a couple times when it’s been really cold with wind. It works for sure. I wouldn’t have survived on the edge of a clear cut one morning with a north wind an 18deg outside without it. The material really seems to block the wind. I have no experience with a sleeping bag in a stand so no clue if they would block the wind like it does at a cheaper or similar price.
As others have stated, it’s a little heavy to tote. It can get pretty warm in that thing if the temps aren’t really cold.
