The last set of tires on my Ford F250 diesel was the Michelin LTX M/S. Bought them new, rotated them every 3,000 miles and I got 60,000 miles out of them. They still had some tread left on them when I took them off. I now have the BF Goodrich TA KO All Terrains on it. I have never had a tire that picked up as many rocks as these do. I don't like them for that reason alone. Also, I don't expect to get anywhere near 60,000 miles out of them. When these are worn out I will be going back to the Michelin LTX M/S.  maybe the M/S's are better than the A/S's that I've had??? I've heard several negative comments about the ATS. My wife has run the M/S (currently M/S2) on her 4x4 Suburban since 2003. She gets 75-80k from a set. Not a very aggressive tread, but 85% of her driving is on pavement.

I didn't read all the answers but I'm about to put a set of Nitto Trail Grapplers on my F150....They have very good ratings but I don't know anyone that has them...I do know people that have the Nitto Terra Grapplers and Nitto Mud Grapplers and they are both very pleased....I think the Trail Grappler is going to be perfect for what I'm wanting...

What load rating are you running? Load Range E. Another question is how much air to run in them. Rec's say 60 in front and 70 in rear. I think this is why they wore out so fast. It was so bad that the dealership I bought it from gave me 2 tires free cause the rear tires wore out after only 20,000. After the other 2 wore out after only 40,000 they gave me 2 more at cost. That was the Bridestones. I've cut back to 60 in front and 60 in rear and that seems to help. I don't have many heavy loads but like E's just in case. Just seems like getting 60000-70000 on a set shouldn't be too much to ask for.

Nitto or toyo's..... They sound new fangle but they last forever, put 40k on a f250 diesel, sold it two springs ago and the guy that bought it still has them on it. I have the Nitto terra grapplers , its a all terrain, great tires. Abt to buy my 3rd set of them. What load range? Where can you buy and how much?

Yokahama geolander a/t-s 10 ply e range have gotten 70k out of them on a couple sets same question as above Where and what do they run $$? Load range E? Also, how much air are you running in them and how often are you rotating? I can't logically rotate my tires every 3k miles. I'd be in the shop once a month. Prior to having a diesel I rotated every 10-12k miles and got over 100K miles.

TD, I now have the high grade Kumhos on my 2500. They are doing great. When I wasn't pulling a goose neck much ,but driving it alot, I ran a set at 36lbs, learned a lesson! 10 ply tires call for 50lbs, and 80 in rear when hauling. I wore a set out in about 20K, I blame it on low pressure. Get a good quality set ,keep the pressure up to spec and rotate. My.02 I think running with too much air also causes them to wear out quickly. As mentioned above I ran 60 in front and 70 in back. 70 seemed to be too much. Guy at NTB even agreed, and that's after he put the first set on and filled up to spec. Said they way they wore indicated too much air... just remembered I had to buy 2 new Mich.'s after only getting around 30,000 on them...

Firestone Destination AT's are what I just put on my F-150, ran about $700 installed. They got great reviews online, most folks saying they got over 50k miles out of them. I am happy so far, both with the look and ride.
A bad day in the woods is better than a good day in the office...

Then went to the LTX A/T and got over 100k, miles the AT's are the best light weight truck tire I've ever seen. They also come new with probably 1/4" more tread than the M/S's. Little more aggressive so not quite as quiet on the road, but not noisy by any means. Me and a friend of mine with same truck both got over 100k miles and only rotated every 10-12k miles.

Load range E Michelins. I have a set on my 2500 and they have 70000 miles on them. I'm gonna need a new set before fall.
