Politicians seldomly vote for what their constituents would have them vote for. If they do, its because thats what happens to pay the politician best at that time. They vote money and power 100% of the time. Taxation without representation is reality. Thats where we live. Politicians do interviews on the news and say they know what their constituents want but will vote the other way. Ive seen that several times. It should be illegal. They dont do that, ever ...and their answer is always "well, then, control that at the ballot box" knowing the ratio of the constituency who are ignorant on their vote on issues vs those who are keen them falls overwhelmingly on the side of ignorance. AKA, I'll win the election whether you vote for me or not, as long as I keep telling the ignorants what they want to hear.

Me, too, but the right smart people generally don't insert themselves into such situations, out of self preservation. Politics is a filthy, dirty game that exposes every skeleton in the closet, and that's just during campaign season...wait until there's political controversy and the real trolls emerge.

Sometimes I need to be reminded of this flawless rule. Pharma adds on TV have nothing to do with sales, that's what doctors are for. It is so they can control they content. I've been seeing a lot of pharma adds on youtube recently...
