Ok it’s your catalytic converter and the Romex from your workshop and you’re off duty. Then what? Like I said if I had to fight Im choosing the Bat. I need to break bones/Knock some one unconscious with a hit. If you choose the Antenna you are not breaking bones or knocking anyone out with an antenna. You could mess up some one bad with an antenna but the goal would be to stop them from hurting you. Baseball bat is the better option.

Still a bat because with some one high on stimulants and schizophrenia is very unpredictable and honestly I would avoid altercation if at all possible as much as I hate a thief I'd let them go and let Law enforcement do their job. The antenna would be good for a situation with a drunk idiot who doesn't realize what they are doing. One good lash with an antenna and the drunk idiot would probably think twice before trying to fight.

As soon as you show up, they are determined to not go to prison. Most of them have priors and don't want to go back. They also have an all consuming drive to get their fix, and you're in the way of that. They would run away themselves if they didn't want to hurt you. Presenting a nonlethal weapon will show hesitance, and embolden them. I've dealt with crack, meth, heroin, fetanyl.. you name it heads. They are dangerous people, don't play around. MC21 has a good application of the wandering drunk next to a bar. I'd personally break a rib or leg instead. Might go for the antenna if they are some kind of pussy liberal, but then it's not really self defense.

I should mention running away is the best option. You can buy more chit to replace what you lost when you're still alive and not in prison.

I responded to a fight call when I was a young police officer and saw a guy take a baseball bat to the other guy's head and remember the sound it made and watched as the victim convulsed on the ground and later saw the x-rays of the man's fractured skull that looked like a spider web. The batter pleaded guilty to First Degree Assault before the victim later died after being comatose for a long time. I never saw anyone die from a antenna whipping so I'll take the bat.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I carry a $20 plot stick from Forestry Suppliers when I’m working.
It’s about 4ft long and 1/2 inch diameter.
Made of solid fiberglass with a pointed metal tip.
If I can’t whoop it with that stick it’s a bad mofo.

Antenna would hurt like hell, but the bat is going to break what it hits. Either one you would try to use your arm to block the impact. The bat is going to immobilize that arm with one swing.

I don't know of any news stories where somebody is in prison for murdering somebody with an antenna. There are a lot of folks in prison for murdering somebody with a bat.

I’d choose the bat if I wanted to kill someone. For purely defensive use against multiple assailants I’d take a solid whip antenna because they are light and allow repeated rapid strikes. But my first choice is a hammer.
