I've got a bad shoulder and can't pull my bow back anymore, so I might as well sell it to someone who can use it. I'm gonna include all of my accessories too, as my bowhunting career is over. I believe this is a 2008 model bow, and it is still in great shape. I averaged about 3 hunts a year with it and kept it on a shelf in the house the rest of the time. I've killed a good many deer with it, including a 128 8 pt. Accessories include a Mueller Quick Shot electronic sight. I've also got a single pin fiber optic sight that used to be on it. It has an Ultra Rest HD arrow rest, a 6 arrow quiver, dampeners installed, and a Truball release. I've got about 20 aluminum arrows and a stabilizer that I took off. It's a 50 to 60 lb bow with a 29" draw length. There are 13 xx78 arrows in 2315 size that I have been using with the bow, along with some xx75 in size 2018. A Plano bow case is included. I really like the Mueller sight. It has a choice of dot or cross hair. It automatically adjusts for the light, so if you can see the deer you can see the cross hair. I started out with the bow at it's maximum setting, and the bow scale where I bought it said that was 62 pounds. I set the sight for 25 yards and didn't worry about the distance out to 30 yards. The big buck was 32 yards and I held a little high and it hit him perfectly. That was the longest shot I ever tried with it as I have always focused on getting a close shot with a bow. I have gradually reduced the poundage over the years and it is now on 50. It's now sighted in for 20 yards. It would be real easy to adjust it back to 60 and change the sight back to 25. If you are consistent in your anchor point, the bow is very accurate. Some might not like the idea of the aluminum arrows, but they are heavy enough to zip right through the deer and kill him quickly with a decent shot. I think they are easy to sell if you don't wanna use them. The Mueller sight is over $100 new and would probably bring 75 if you don't want to use it. The Mueller required a special mount that was also pretty expensive, but I can't remember how much. Folks have told me that the package is worth $500, but I always like to give someone a bargain so I will sell it for $450. The first person to say "I'll take it" in this thread can have it. If you wanna come to my house in Sylacauga and shoot it, you are welcome to come over. I have a target I will include if you want it, but it's about worn out. The only thing that you need to buy to go hunting is broadheads. I've been using 3 blade Muzzy and will keep them in case I decide to get an Xbow. I would consider a trade for an Xbow. Thanks for looking. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.postimg.cc/cJdF2yct/PXL-20220927-213320589.jpg) picture hosting sites

Best compound I ever owned. The last pin on my Hogg was at 85 yards. Somebody will get a great bow in this deal. Preach go get a Xbow and climb a tree Brother.

Thanks for the bump, but the big advantage of an Xbow is that I could hunt from the ground. But then I would have to deal with a deer, so that sounds a lot less interesting. The last one I shot at with this bow was in 2020. I climbed a tree with my climber without killing myself, and was about to get down just before dark when I heard one coming. A nice 1.5 yr old doe came in and got broadside at 20 yds. I managed to get the bow drawn, but I think she heard me and went on full alert. I rushed the shot and zipped it right over her back. As she ran off, I wondered what in the world I was thinking to have tried to shoot a deer way back in the woods right at dark all by myself. It would have been a nightmare to get her out. I climbed down and thus ended my bowhunting career.

Glad you sold it. It was a really good deal.
Now, somebody needs to sell one with a 31 inch draw and 70# pull.

I really enjoyed talking to Colt1917; he's a very nice guy. He shot a couple of bullseyes with the bow, but he has the same kinda shoulder issue that I do and decided the bow was too hard on it. So the bow is back on the market if anyone is interested.

One last aldeer bump and then I'm gonna list it on eBay. Somebody will buy it for some price on there. I don't know how much of a factor these aluminum arrows might be to someone, so if you don't want the arrows you can knock $75 off the price. That would make it $375 for everything except the arrows. If you don't want the Mueller sight and mount, you can knock another $75 off, so it would be $300 for the bow and all accessories except the arrows and the Mueller stuff.

I can’t speak for the guy I mentioned on Craigslist, but I was just giving you a heads up because I’ve seen his listing a few times. You can get on Mobile Craigslist and search bow and it’ll come up

If it's a scam, he is still gonna have to come to Sylacauga with cash in hand. Maybe I need a counterfeit expert to look at the money. I would think that somebody being that specific on a WTB add is probably legit. The scammers usually have a too good to be true type add; wanting an obsolete bow doesn't seem to fit their style. I guess it's a moot point; I sent an email and he didn't respond. Maybe he already found one

Most are blocked or sent to spam before anybody can see them. So, he may be interested but might never see your response.
