I have seen several, but it has been a while since I have seen any. Don't know why?
But, 2 of the most vivid memories were on the Scotch WMA, near Goat Hill. 2 years apart, at night while coon hunting, we had a LARGE long-tailed cat cross the road ahead of us. One of the times it even slowly walked down the ditch watching it's shadow as we watched in awe.
I saw another one cross a cow pasture late morning in Wilcox County about 20 years ago.
All were dark-colored. Not really glossy black by any means, but dark brown.
