I was not trying and have been seeing my doctor . He can’t find anything wrong with my blood work , the only thing he did find is a little dehydrated and low b12.
Has anyone ever experienced this or heard of it.

Obvious things that come to mind:
Has your activity increased, eating habits changed, basically...are you doing anything differently to explain the weight loss? Sounds like the answer would be no, so any unexplained weight loss needs to be investigated. If you are seeing a family practice doc, maybe get a consult with an internal medicine doc to ensure they are checking all possibilities. 50# over a year off someone that weighs 300# isn't as concerning as 50# off someone who weighs 170#. Did it take a year to lose the weight or shorter timeframe just caught at your annual checkup?

I’ve seen pancreatic cancer cause it. So yeah, get everything checked out.

I’ve seen pancreatic cancer cause it. So yeah, get everything checked out. Absolutely...saw it with my dad. Went from 180 to 130 in about 5 months. Pan-C is a cruel disease.

No major changes went from 247 to 195 in 9 months . I had some surgery back in 08 that almost killed me but come through and been good since . I am going to see my endocrinologist that I was seeing back then to dig as deep as I can to make sure nothing from 08 has come back and she will check stuff a general practitioner will not think of.

Sounds like you are doing what you need to do and it may turn out to be something easily explained or managed but always wise to get a more in-depth eval from docs who are good at figuring these type of things out!

Did you contract the corona virus? Ive lost a bunch of weight too cause that chit and aint been trying too...I think it messed up my taste buds or something, cause a lot of food just tastes different or something, idk its really hard to explain....Its like I can stand in front of a stocked up pantry and or refrigerator and nothing in there appeals to me anymore, used to be I could see something or think of something to eat and my mouth would water up and drool and dribble...  and I also would have deep cravings for certain foods....Mmmm...but not anymore since covid...  now I have to force myself to eat to live if feels like somedays, and, even though I dont have an appetite I know I need to eat but it dont taste good so in turn I usually dont finish my plate....I know thats crazy right? Thats the only thing I can think of why I've lost weight...

Have your eating patterns changed? As in time of day, composition of food, availability of snack? Have you been feeling off or lack of energy? Increase in stress levels? Increase in amount of walking around during the day?
To me it’s very hard to just randomly lose weight with no obvious explanation. I would see an internal dr and express concern if you can’t point to something obvious. Good look, I wish you the best

Diabetes can cause it but it causes a lot of other symptoms along with it. Your doc would have found it with your labs tho. Best of luck and health.

Its an absolutely horrible, terrible way to go... He was over 300lbs and lost down to skin and bones in 6 months and passed.... His first symptoms were going #2 a lot....sometimes 7 or 8 times at night...then he got to where he couldnt eat and would throw up more than he would take in ( dark green Bile)...Bless his heart, I loved him alot and he was pretty much one of my best friends ...Damn cancer...

It happened to me. Mine was extremely high blood sugar. As Benji mentioned, other symptoms were present. Vision issues, thirsty all the time, peeing multiple times a night.
