I have never had cow peas survive a summer before. This year I had a 1.25 acre plot not get hit hard by the deer. The peas produced 6 inch pea pods. My question is are the deer going to be attracted to them like they are soybean pods.

You do know they taste good . Should've picked you a mess before they got dry. Winter peas are good too.

We had several 8 acres of peas last year that produced a lot of pods but I never saw deer eating them during the winter like they do the beans.

They’ll eat em, be there one day, and about gone the next. Lots of rain last month or so, scuppidnes, honey suckle, and briars and weeds for them to eat on right now. As well as white oaks dropping a heavy crop and already hittin the ground.
A friend, the Bible and a banker will get you though about anything.
