I tried the Tekan, and wasn't impressed. I shot one deer, and haven't had one on an arrow since. There are some really awesome mechanicals, and some really horrible ones. Unfortunately, the bad ones give all the goods ones a bad rap. And unfortunately, the only sure way to figure out which are good and which are bad is through actual experience. But in the Tekans defense, it did the job for you.
