They might be the best guys in the world but their game day skills suck. They rank right up there with Beth Mowins. Verne can't get through a compete game without calling a player by another name or mispronounced a player's name several times

Lee Corso definitely struggles and is propped up by Kirk Herbstreit and the rest of the cast. I think I read somewhere last year, that he has to stay on script - or has some serious issues.
I do enjoy him and I think he adds to the program - even with his limited input.
