GFS showing it may kick back out into Gulf so there's that possibility it could reform in future models. Time will tell. The Saharan dust layer will kick north so looking like next few weeks, eastern US is ok but the gulf has a straight shot of warm water/air for low pressure to make it's way here. Obviously going to be fewer named storms this year signs are pointing towards less storms but more major storms.

Compare this image to the last model I posted, you can see how it directes that low pressure heading towards the Carolinas back out into the ocean. The door is open for the gulf now
