Yeah I'm pretty pumped. I've gotten 5 bucks on this camera in the past week (just put it out last week), 3 of which I'm pretty sure will be shooters. And I killed this buck in the same general area in Dec last year. It just takes a little work to find em, and most people that hunt out there aren't willing to do it.

bartman are you out on the cahaba wma?? Yes, and I hunt Oakmulgee occasionally, but these pics are from Cahaba River WMA. I used to alternate weekends between the two, to avoid the gun hunts (I only bowhunt), but I didn't hunt Oakmulgee at all last year.

Nice deer. I hope it works out for you this year. I have a buddy I hunt with who killed a good 12 point this year off Freedom Hills WMA. He was not a world record, but he was tickled pink to take the deer. He was hunting green fields on our club and got frustrated at not seeing any deer, so he started hunting some powerlines on the refuge and started seeing deer crossing from one tract of timber to the other. He killed his deer the 3rd week of January following some does across the lines.
I can't stand a thief.
