I've got a 48 (the 43x is essentially 48 frame with a 43 slide). I don't carry it much b/c I haven't found a holster I like for it yet, but it feels great in the hand.

My vote is for both. The 43x is more concealable and lighter and the dagger is a great affordable option to a g19. You can find different sales prices on the different dagger models, mostly around sights, optics ready and various slide cuts.

Even better option (if you like the size/feel of the 43x/48), get the 43x, get a couple of Shield mags and metal mag catch (probably around $100 for all of it) and you have a 43x (or a 48) with the exact same capacity as a 19.

The Shield mags are flush, not extended, but b/c they're metal mags instead of polymer, they can fit more rounds in a mag with the same external dimensions as the OEM mags

Then get a p365xL. You will have parts compatibility between the two. Looks like I'm too late lol.
