Is anyone else hunting out of a tree today. The wind is making it tough!

I saw some poor soul stopped at a hunting gate this morning outside of northport. Your a better man than me if your in a treestand braving it today. I'd be scouting or just working on stands.

I said the same thing two years ago when me and a buddy were going to hunt Mulberry fork. Tornadoes were everywhere and it was supposed to be like that until 9 so we decided to wait and then hit the woods. When we got there at 730 a guy was leaving the check in station with his 24 point!! It was a typical 10 with all sorts of little 1 inch stickers coming off of it. By the time it was over it was a 24 point

 now if you ask me he was way too dedicated. I love to hunt but I think coming HOME from the woods is always a bonus.

My biggest deer meas 120". In between storms yesterday 530-600pm, my son comes bouncing into the living room saying something...all I got out of it was "buck". Get up to see thinking it would be the little 6pt I saw last week. Nope! Had to be 140" about 20 yards from my front door. Hanging stand this afternoon.
The harder I practice, the luckier I get.

Went to the lease with the intention to hunt, but moved some stands and decided to get the heck out of there
