Still impressed with the Rage 2-Blade! This buck and his larger buddy came out into a freshly sprouted food plot to nibble on some tender greens a little after 6 yesterday afternoon. They were about 75 - 80 yds away when they entered the field. I noticed the long strand of velvet hanging on this bucks main beam immediatley and thought the double-beam was neat as heck! They slowly fed out with the larger buck turning and slowly feeding away from me and this one turning and feeding my direction. I watched them for about 20 minutes hoping the big 8 would come my way, but the light started getting a little low. The 7 pt was just a tad over 40 yds and broadside with his left side to me. I drew and placed my single pin a little high just behind his shoulder and touched the release. BINGO! The arrow went through, but remained in the buck, sticking out both sides. He wheeled and ran a complete loop around the 1.5 acre field and hit the woods right in front of me.....literally spraying blood on the tree I was in!!! I saw him pile up about 40 yds behind me and he took two deep gurgling breaths and it was over. The blood trail was pretty spectacular!

Proud of ya Dano, now you gotta go get the big boy. A large frame buck crossed in front of us near that field saturday going in on the tractor to finish reseeding and covering. The one on the Gulley Tract is an awesome buck. Think that tract of land gonna be worth it all whatever the cost. Congrats. Great to have folks like you and the wife. Cya soon. Take care of that knee

Take care of that knee I was kinda keeping that quiet.....LOL  I had a BIG buck cross ahead of me on the way out last night between C-6 and C-7. I plan to stick a camera in there and spend a little time hunting him. He was under the big water oaks by the creek where it first comes right up to the road. You're right about the gulley tract. I have pics of some really good bucks in there!!!! My problem is not even really a problem.....too many good places to hunt!!!!

Great Buck!! I am with you on the 2 blade Rage. They are the real deal in my book. I have shot 3 deer and 1 hog with the 2 blade Rage, and none have left my sight before they went down.
