Morning or evening. Do you have a general time where you usually come down or come down when you feel like it?

What about evenings? What time do you like to get in the stand?

I usually get down when I literally can't stand it anymore. I have to get down and walk after a while. My legs get sore. In the mornings I usually try to sit until 10:30-11:00. Sometimes I may get down earlier.

In the evenings I try to be in the stand no later than 3:00.

I see the most activity in the mid-late mornings....between 9-11.

I like to be in the stand just before you can see. I get on Wunderground.com and it tells you the time of civil twilight. Thats when I want to be in the stand. I stay until I feel like gettin down. In the evening I like to be in the stand by 230 to 3. Stay till I cant see. When the rut kicks in, I will pack a lunch and try to stay out all day long in the stand.

Here lately I have too.

I like to be set up 30 minutes prior to daylight and stay till bout 10 or so . I also like setting up around 10 am and sittin till bout 1 or so. In the evenings I like to be set up by 3 after time changes and sit till I can't see properly.

All night if the moon is bright enough

Usually in the AM im in the stand before daylight and stay untill about 10:00. I see the most deer between daylight and 8:00.

In the afternoons Im back in the tree about 1:00 and stay untill dark.

With that being said I hunt when I can.This year I want get to hunt as much and will hunt all day more often.

Early season, about 3 hours per sit. During rut, 4+.

I sit as late as i can. to bad i slept in Saturday!

For me it depends, if im seeing deer i might set to lunch, if no deer about 9:45/10. In the afternoons ill set 3/3 1/2 hours.

I generally don't like walking through the woods in the pitch dark especially since I'm in a new club and am still learning my way around. I like just enough light to get straight to the stand with as little meandering as possible. My rule of thumb for how long to stay is around 4 hours once I'm settled down and ready to hunt. Didn't see the first deer Saturday morning till 10:00.
