I just checked academy in Monkeytown and there are no guns in stock, that I could find. All were "ships to store" marked. That is pitiful, as you said.

Maybe so but as I remember academy was the only ones getting decent priced ammo back when they was none to be found...not sure what's up I don't hardly go anywhere anymore

Yeah but he’ll I’m not even talking about guns….I’m talking about their regular stuff. Clothes are especially bad….they’ll have XS, S and 4x……but if you want a normal adult size, you’re SOL

Academy would much rather be another Dicks imo and not sells guns and hunting equipment, just look at what they've done with the inventory the past several years long before the Covid BS. The owners have been getting further and further away from their bread n butter for a long time now.

People may have forgotten but they hid their Evil Black guns in safes and in the back after the 2016 shooting HOWEVER would still sell 'em to ya. Thats why Daniel Defense pulled their guns from all their stores....

I only buy from locally owned stores because the staff knows their products. Like Walter Craig’s in Montgomery, J&M in Orange Beach and Van’s in Cullman.

Dicks has always sucked.

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.
