Does anyone have any in home cell phone boosters they would recommend. Would need for talk and data”run hotspot”. I have service outside of the home but the metal roof seems to be a problem.
Thanks

We installed a Sure Call with Yagi antenna at the farm which has a tin roof and it works great. Found appropriate direction, calibrated and installed on old antenna pole. Five bars in the house. Website shows nearest tower which determines direction of antenna. Distance to nearest tower will determine success.

I have been using Wilson boosters nearly 20 years, and that has included several different models. When the phone companies upgrade their signal, it requires a new booster suited for the new technology. All of them worked great until the latest one. I can't get this one to be reliable. It works well at times, and others it just fades away. I have a Yagi antenna and all sorts of equipment I've used through the years, but no combination works very well.

But, honestly, I don't know if the problem is with the Wilson booster or the VZ signal. I used to be able to talk on my phone most anywhere, but the VZ signal is nothing like it used to be. I think their 5g signal is geared towards data in big cities and is not concerned with rural areas. We will be remembering the good ole days when mobile phones used to work when you were traveling.

No idea about it being a Wilson or not, but I have a Weboost and it works well. Like the OP, I have service outside but the metal roof means none inside. Have good service inside with the booster.

we bought a WEboost last week and installed it in main service truck. We are ordering another one Monday for other service truck.
We are seeing Instead of one and two bars on Verizon we are seeing three and four bars on phone. We have not been with out service since it was installed.
