I have a grandson that is 42 months old. In the 3rd month of my daughters pregnancy she was told by two doctors that our grandson was going to be severely deformed and recommended that her and her husband abort the pregnancy. I'm so proud of her for so many things in life, but when she told the doctor that an abortion wasn't going to happen and was never considered was my proudest.
He was born a healthy boy with an extra chromosome. I told her that it must me the one that makes you smile and hug a lot more than usual because that's what he loves to do.
