This is the one reason I’m glad I voted for trump. He help get this Done by appointment of his conservative justices. A great day in America. Maybe god can smile on us a bit now

These liberal justices suck. But this is a great victory for the unborn and our Lord and Savior!

Well..... Abortion isn't overturned. The ruling is simply that the Supreme Court can't grant rights. If not enumerated in the Constitution, rights have to be legislated. They've left it up to the states and the voters to decide which is what it should have been the whole time. That's why I don't understand the overreaction on both sides of this issue.

That's why I don't understand the overreaction on both sides of this issue. because an overwhelming majority of voters on both sides vote overwhelmingly with their emotions instead of their brains.

This is a good thing. It was a right decision by the SCOTUS. Long time coming in untying the knot that was tied by the Progressive Movement decades ago.
But...as good as the decision was, there will still be a plethora of abortions in states that will choose for themselves to allow this practice to continue. Conversely, there will now be opportunities for other states to ban or greatly restrict this practice...which is a really good victory---not for politics but for the lives of the not yet born.
I'm all in favor of any law or decision that furthers the ideological concept of Sanctity of Life. Our nation has been sliding down the slippery slope of moral decay for a long while now, but this is at least one positive measure that will bring some areas back to putting Virtue at the forefront. Our style of government only works properly when Virtue is in place.

This "should" allow the conservatives states to be more strict with regards to abortions, but on the other hand the liberal states will likely allow pretty much anything.
Either way this ruling does what it should and direct issues not covered by the constitution back to the states where they belong.

Youd think the dems would be glad if they could think that far ahead. Much more minority, blue voting people will be born now.

This is a huge win for States Rights. We don't think about the rights of the States nearly as much as we should. 2 HUGE wins in that area with this and Concealed Carry and hopefully there will be many more rulings such as these. It's time to give some power back to the people.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

Praise God! No more Federal Government sanctioned MURDER of unborn children.
It only took an assination attemp on Kavanaugh and protests at the SCOTUS before they realized these progressive liberals are nuts.

Maybe a near total ban with certain circumstances like rape, incest, severe deformity, etc... being allowed.

While I agree that it is a states rights' issue, I also believe that any hope of taking the country back at mid-terms just got scuttled. I am afraid that too many people will put "women's rights" above the economy, etc.
You may also see a rise in suicide of women who feel trapped in an undesirable situation who cannot afford to travel to other more liberal states to have an abortion. The rise of "back alley" abortion providers will likely increase as well.
I would have preferred that SCOTUS not release their official position until AFTER the mid-term election when we may have been able to pick up some more conservative seats in Congress.
