I just used a fry daddy for these but I've also got a pot and burner setup if cooking for more people. But really nothing special about the fry setup. 350-375 degree oil. Can definitely stove top it. The main thing for oysters to me is using corn flour. About a 60/40 corn flour to corn meal ratio. My cornmeal portion is usually just a fish fry of some type. Zatarains crispy southern our Louisiana crispy usually.
