Uvaldes, Tx is his hometown. That’s why he’s been interviewed so much lately.

Amazing how no one’s talking about COVID anymore, Ukraine money, Hunter’s laptop, Biden’s approval or how bad the democrats should do going into the midterms. This is all orchestrated and everybody is just eating it up.

I don't think McConaughey's opinion should mean anymore than mine. I think having him speak in that venue was inappropriate grandstanding.

However, I do think Liberals who actually listened heard something that sounded foreign to them. They heard someone who actually gave the appearance of being reasonable instead of crying Orange Man Bad! or Republicans are racist terrorists. That was something new. I think it was a breath of fresh air for some in the New Media including Fox. You have to realize that those people on TV are not exactly all quite as conservative as most of us.

I don't think it will make much difference.

I 100% disagree with McConaughey and about all points. My plan to end gun violence is to get rid of Democrats and several Republicans along with them. That's the only way to solve this problem.

No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

I did listen to the whole "speech". Here's the part you must have missed. https://www.bing.com/videos/search?...D0E7FAC4DE&view=detail&FORM=VIRE

I thought he gave a great speech but a presidential press conference was not the place for it. His points were 1. Raise AR age for purchase from 18 to 21. 2. Strengthen background checks 3. Waiting period 4. Red flag laws with consequences for abuse. Not absoulutely opposed to these except a couple already are law and hell no to universal background checks.

Lots of Hollywood and otherwise entertainers are two faced douche bags that want to scream about gun control yet have made a fortune glorifying guns. Ever watched the Jason Bourne series?

I guess I’m having a hard time understanding why anyone would support any gun restrictions? Any law is an infringement.

For those saying you support pieces of it, what other rights would you want to see limited? Free speech? Maybe the freedom to choose our own religion? I got it, let’s take away alcohol again! Geez

I am opposed to any infringement on the 2nd amendment until it becomes mandatory for the fed's to prosecute all gun crimes, with no option to plea bargain.

I am not in favor of giving a government or a doctor the right to determine, without due process, if I pose a danger to myself or others. All that will do is force people who need help to not get it. If you look at what we have seen from the left regarding covid, the vaccine and masking, does anyone really believe they wouldn't completely and totally abuse this ? They would.

My kids mom wanted me to go with her to counseling with a psychiatrist. I said absolutely not. At UAB no less. Given their position on the covid vaccines, I'd say that was a wise decision on my part.

Call me paranoid all you want, but I don't trust any of them.

No he's been interviewed lately because he's a Dem and he came within a whisker of deciding to run for Governor of Texas this go around. Dems desperately wanted him to run for it but he didnt feel the time was right. You watch, he'll be interviewed more and more over the next couple years then boom, in 2026 he will be the Dem nominee for TX Gov. In other words, he's being groomed for the job.

Apparently everyone sees him as a Hollywood nut and didn't listen. I agreed with a majority of his speech. He plainly stated the Gov has no business telling us what we should think nor messing with the 2nd amendment. Maybe I'm missing the aldeer agenda here?

Liam Neeson his a bigger DOUCHEBAG but folks still watch his stuff. Guess they've forgotten what he said about guns lol

Liam Neeson: America's "gun culture" is a huge problem!!!

Also Liam Neeson: gets stupid rich off movies where he kills half of Europe, mostly with guns
