A lot of old people say feed the dog as much pork fat as you can, packs of bacon. Something about the grease.

If my dog gets bit and I take him to the vet, will I get hit with a $10k+ vet bill? I love my dog, but not that much.

If my dog gets bit and I take him to the vet, will I get hit with a $10k+ vet bill? I love my dog, but not that much. I think its around a grand per vile for antivenom. I wouldn't imagine it would be above 5k and thats on the high end. My personal opinion is, the benadryl and bacon greese doesn't really do much. Its worth a try, but if they're lethargic or alot of swelling. I'm going to the vet.

If my dog gets bit and I take him to the vet, will I get hit with a $10k+ vet bill? I love my dog, but not that much. I’ve taken the same dog to the vet twice because of bites on the face. She was a little sheltie. It was only like $100 each time. The vet gave her a shot of something and some steroids. He said he doesn’t even keep antivenom in stock because it’s so expensive.

An old remedy for a snakebit dog- Feed him as fast & as many raw eggs as he will eat. It works. Snake venom is made up of protein. Something about the protein in raw eggs appears to counter act the venom.

Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!
