Can't point to a person or time, but I'm fortunate now to know I have a strong Norwegian ancestry. I watched the Vikings series and would joke with my kids that we were all vikings but that my wife was on English. She called my bluff on Christmas with an Ancestry test. Turns out I wasn't too wrong. I'm adopted and had no idea of where I came from. Guess my anger and enjoyment of alcohol come honest.
