My mom's side been here a long time. We are working on establishing lineage to the initial settlers at Plymouth Rock. We have a bassinet in th Smithsonian that we believe an offspring was born just before leaving Europe.
The craziest things to me are the census, which listed all of their possessions. Barrels of whiskey, livestock, furniture, etc.
