Really just needs a vet if you think he got hit. Some people will tell about how their dog got bit and just got over it, but I wouldn't make that gamble if it were my dog. They have a nasty neuro toxin. I think you will know pretty quickly if he got tagged. Certainly if a lot of venom got in. Maybe shave the area and look for a bite. The dog may look dumb for a few weeks but at least you will know.
