I feel that these shootings happen more then we think. It is just the media wants to paint this portrait at this time so it is what it shows. Notice no talks of the crime in Chicago, Minneapolis, mempis, Montgomery and all the other places that average a few a week.
Shoot, Tuscaloosastan seems to have public, middle-of-the-day shootings 3-4 times/week.
And speaking of Memphis, we spent a 4-day weekend there this past weekend for my B-day and didn’t die a single time. Even took the kids down on Beale Friday evening after dinner. Pretty sure we were the only ones not smoking weed in public, but everyone seemed to be pretty chill and relaxed, so there’s that.
