3 days off work, more scouting for elk and learning some areas I guess. Cool part about elk hunting is that you can actually make noise getting in closer to them and they think you're another elk. No more tippie toes...

i just ran into the hitch on the back of my truck ...i hit it so hard the truck rocked side to side ....i cussed and cried and yanked the hitch out and threw it in the river ....turned and looked and my little boy said ....daddy how are we gonna get the trailer back home

Now that's a pretty place. OB was about the only beach vacation we've ever took that I really enjoyed. Scary going through those cuts from the sound to the ocean when the tide is going out or coming in hard though.

Been riding my daughters mountian bike to get some exercise-like I need more exercise. I will be sterile if I continue to ride that "crotch kruncher" for another week. Its hers, so I can't change the seat. She will ride 20-30 miles at a time. No wonder she only weighs 102 lbs.
BTW-I get off the road when cars meet me. Too many crack heads that don't care about running over you out there.

Speaking of exercise. I dusted off the treadmill about a week ago and started logging some miles. Would rather walk the neiborhood with the dog but HATE the heat and humidity. Instead I crank the volume up on the TV and get lost in Blue Bloods or someother show and the miles just click away.

I thought about using a treadmill once. Old injuries and old age are catching up on my joints so I don't use the treadmill or jog. I jogged about 1/2 mile the other day with my wife and my knees ached all day long the next day. Just can't do it anymore. I don't want a belly and I love to eat. Something has to balance. I weigh 11 pounds more now than I did when I graduated HS. I graduated at 169 lbs and it was all lean muscle back in those days-but that was a long time ago.
I can't stand a thief.

I feel ya'lls pain. The last 2 weeks I have been putting in the miles on bike and foot on these logging roads and didn't realize how steep the terrain is until I started this. My legs are whipped after doing this everyday. Only a few more months of it though, lol
