I wonder at what point Russia measures themselves and determines that they have been weakened from a equipment/people talent standpoint to where they feel vulnerable. As paranoid as they are you’d think they’d factor in how long it’s going to take to rebuild themselves back to a point where folks are scared of them again
I don't ever think they will be able to do it. They simply don't have and never will have the GDP and therefore the capital to do it with. The United States outspends them militarily something like 10 to 1. But in their mind they are like "We the baddest mofo's on de block."
Their fighter pilot training and all the tires on the vehicles blowing out due to dry rot are classic examples of what I'm talking about. If I remember correctly India spends as much on defense as Russia. India...
