Biggest thing i'm getting from this is it seems the "russians" are getting it handed to them and the other forces fighting for the russians (chechens and ?) are the ones that seem to be handing it out more than they're taking. Apparently the mighty soviet army was more about the states that made it up (Ukraine, Chechnya etc).
