I went back and looked at the avid hunter survey info I submitted and collected my info. I was interested in the fact that I am having a lot of mornings I don't hear a bird. I have been hearing similar reports. Bear in mind I go a lot of mornings but if they are not gobbling I am leaving. I would rather not kill one if they aren't gobbling and I would rather hunt a lot of mornings than a lot of hours. Data is from 2015 to 2022
Percent 0 mornings by week is simply whether I heard a turkey or not on any given morning and is summarized (generally) by week.Bottom line, I have a LOT more blank mornings early than later in the season.
Number of gobblers heard by week is summarized the same - entered by day but summarized by week. Bottom line, Not a huge amount of variance by week but the 4th week is best.
Kills by week shows I kill a lot more birds later in the season. Week 5 is best and week 7 typically does not have many days. I apparently don't kill much early

percent 0 mornings by year is obvious and seems like there are a LOT more 0 mornings this year - last 2 years I heard birds most mornings.
number of gobblers per morning by year is interesting and shows a definite trend down as in I am hearing less and less gobblers per morning now than in 2015
Similar to sharp spurs and full fans, 2015 was a good year but made for an unfair comparison to following years.
