They can’t build houses fast enough for people. And no price is too high. That affects lumber prices I’m sure. I’m betting interest rates are about to nip that back. If the FED goes all in as some suspect, home prices will and materials will come back down. BIL works in the large warehouse buildings of 1 million plus square footages. They’re shut down right now due to lack of materials. Only a few weeks out of completion on this project and running a skeleton crew. He said some builds are being shuttered mid build and fines being paid for lack of completion. The part people forget is that there are more dollars now. They created 30% more dollars. Each dollar is worth much less. So no matter what happens, everything will still cost more because the dollars we have, have been diluted.
