Worked off at 7. Came home to get some breakfast and head out hunting. Checked my camera and had a strutter in the field behind my house. Was able to crawl up on him with 2-3 hens and another longbeard in the field and kill him. #2 for the season with the hand rolled 20 gauges. This one was 67 steps

Been there this year. At least you didn't drive 12 hours to Florida to miss one like that.

stuck in the hen house this morning - setup in the dark & 3 flew down on top of me before 6am & pinned me down until 830am 🤦🏻♂️

Heard one gobble twice on center of my property - all I heard - but he was actually on my property - that’s positive
Then went to new ground I had just purchased rights to - somebody was in there for the second straight time hunting - I was supposed to be only guy - guy that sold me rights told me he would give me $ back
May try roosting if hv time this evening
757 - I hav had them want to be down in bottom a lot - that old adage - u can’t call one down hill but can call them up hill - it’s straight Bull hoowey. I hv called them both ways - they do seem to like bottoms
