I use a recipe I had for cooking KCBS competitions. It was my “base†recipe and was adjusted depending on the flavor profile I wanted to achieve.’I came up with a few unique flavors at different times that worked well for the judges but also a couple that bombed. I like a vinegar sauce but you better not serve one up to a KCBS judge. Worst scores I ever got. There is no single sauce that is perfect for everything.
