Mark ,,, I think part of the problem is some think the bible was written yesterday and apply yesterday thinking to it. IMO it really does not matter when the Bible was written. If You have faith in God and are a believer then the Bible is God’s word given to Man and is eternal and everlasting. Satan loves nothing more than to sow seeds of doubt in mankind and to doubt the word of God in the Bible. I am not the most faithful Christian but I thank God everyday that I had a strong raising to be brought up to have a strong faith in Him and be a believer.
John 3:16: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life".
