Just found out I’m going to have a daughter. I have two brothers and no sisters. So blessed to be having a daughter, but I’m super nervous about raising her. Any advice on having a daughter and what to expect? Blessed is an understatement but man I’m scared 😂

1) congrats, it's awesome
2) you can't grin at skint knees and other bobo's like you can with boys. Whenever I came in with a scrape or a new cut, dad would tell me to go get some rubbing alcohol and he'd try to find a wire brush to clean it out with.
Got in trouble for that one today...

Congrats…no greater accomplishment than raising a daughter!
My daughter got married a couple of weeks ago, don’t blink….she will be getting married before you realize it. Alway be the man you want her to marry, and teach her how a husband treats his wife through example!

She will get how to be treated as a woman by how you treat your wife. Make sure she knows her worth.
I’ll get hated on for this comment but I’m going to say it anyway because it’s not the norm anymore. Stay in a healthy marriage. My kid’s friends, most of them are divorced. My daughter sees how important marriage is and treating each other with respect. Model that and it will help her in her relationships.

Congrats but hang on!!! Mine just turned 8. She loves hunting, fishing, gardening, etc. I found it was pretty easy, at least for us, to bond like this. Here’s the hard part, don’t forget she’s a little girl and find a way to spend time with her in those ways as well.

There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

I’ve got 2 girls, there’s nothing like it. They’re my buddies but they are still momma’s girls. Holler at me and we’ll talk one day. I’m currently doing a small group at church for dads with kids, I have no idea what I’m doing!! Just praying everyday I do right by them.

You are going to be the man that she judges all other men against. Be there for her and set the bar high. She will watch how you treat mom so that is equally important. There’s nothing wrong with raising her right, and rough and tough just like you would a boy. They become girly girls on their own. A diverse woman is dangerous. I have all boys, but this was my wife’s advice. Congrats!
