Hard to know what to believe but IMO Russia made a strategic move to attempt the complete overthrow of the government with as little force possible, but in the end settle for the separatist regions and the port cities if things got sporty. If they really wanted the whole country, they could have taken it… would have been a lot more costly than what this has already been for them though. I don’t think Putin is so arrogant as to have not learned what happens when you get into long and protracted conflicts like they did in Afghanistan. Ukraine would be wise to accept a deal to end the conflict and allow those regions to become part of Russia, unless that deal included all of Ukraine demilitarizing. If Ukraine can end the shooting, keep the majority of the country, and buy some time to beef up their military, that seems like a smart call.

Just checking in, is the war over? Naw. The new fact & nugget of wisdom is that 93% of Aldeer predictions are inaccurate as all hail. Seven out of ten believe the % is higher than that. No worries Hillary will be president after midterms because KH is going to give up any dreams of becoming the first woman president for a few million bucks The biggest problem with your scenario is that this would have to happen before the Midterms. Never will happen after Midterms. No way a Republican Congress would confirm her as VP. You know a was being facetious and stirring the pot at the same time right

I heard today that the inept Russian military that is supposed to be encircling Kiev pulled a real military boner and let the Ukrainians flanks them to the point that the encirclers are now encircled. Kinda hard fighting forward when someone is behind you shooting at you.
I read yesterday that Nato now believes as many as 16k Russian soldiers have been killed by the Ukrainians. And Ukraine now has about 100 more tanks than they started the war with. Russia, for whatever reason, it tactically getting their asses kicked. Ukraine is suffering to be sure, but they are fighting like mad men. Just a few posts up I mentioned that Russian is saying that they never really wanted to take Kiev in the first place, all they wanted to do is secure the Donbass. Which is more Russian BS. They're at the point now where they are going to settle for whatever they feel that they can come away with.

Ship may be destroyed. But the smoke and fire is from the port or tanks there at that port. Hard to tell how much the ship itself is damaged.

Not only is the ship likely destroyed but it is in a spot that blocks other ships from unloading other supplies there.

Y'all see the Russian ship destroyed by Ukraine? Is it me or are we not seeing much of anything on film to support either sides movements or misfortunes? I'm seeing plenty of destroyed property. The media just isn't going to show any of the ugliest side of warfare.
