On the subject of "having it wrong", the scribes and pharasees were the bible scholars of that day. Jesus preached about a spiritual relationship with him but all they knew was reading scriptures and rituals. We have already seen it once that all the bible scholars had it wrong once. And that was with Jesus himself there to teach them. Is it so hard to believe that todays scholars could have some things wrong, even though they have the Bible to teach them?
