We are not talking about the absence of a physical copy of the Word. We are talking about the absence of the truth revealed by the Word. Someone can be saved without an actual Bible in their hand. But they can't be saved beyond the truth revealed in scripture. Whether that truth was related to them by someone who read the word themselves and then proclaimed it or whether they read it for themselves......the only saving knowledge comes from the scriptures.
Surely we can agree on that.
