Why wouldn't they want to keep the WEST away from MOSCOW? Taking Ukraine, gets them a few more miles from the US or NATO countries from invading MOSCOW.

Russian government officials are promoting Tucker Carlson, Lara Logan, and others which tells me a lot. Sad to see so many jump on that bandwagon without at least questioning it first. Also she questioned why we have to hate Russia? Seems pretty obvious.

Can Lara Logan's claims be corroborated anywhere else by anybody else or only by the typical suspects on "underground" news?

I think Putin is trying to be as messy as he can, bomb as many civilian targets so he can to break the will of the Ukrainians. If he can break their will, he wins. But it appears to be backfiring. The Ukrainians are building momentum and breaking the Russian soldiers down. This is what Im afraid of. Putin is obviously getting isolated, desperate, and paranoid and might be close to send a nuke or two.

Because the military are hiding in civilian targets. The high school that that hit, was hit because Ukrainian soldiers posted pics with GPS info on the internet.

Here is some info for you: I am no Putin fan, but Ukraine is a shithole that elites use to launder money. We/NATO stages a coup there in 2014 to install an anti-russian gov. Before that Russia was hacking elections to keep their guy in place. The only innocent are the people.

Truth is NATO has broken agreement after agreement. It's all about Natural resources and terrain. Ukraine has the ability to cut into Russia's economy by selling oil to the rest of Europe. RUSSIA would not be able to survive. Also Crimea is costing Russia billions to supply water since Ukraine has cut off it's major water supply and Russia will not lose that Major port to the black sea. Finally Russia believes NATO is a hostile alliance and the terrain features that Ukraine has will help defend against any NATO ground offensive. Even in today's world terrain features go a long way in protecting nations from attack and or allow a nation to properly defend itself.
