How many turkey calls do you own?
Of that number, how many do you actually use consistently?

I use a Lynch Foolproof box 90% of the time. Carry a slate call, sometimes a mouth call.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

Way too many, but the past few years I’ve mostly used a trumpet or cane call.
Well, the way I see it is there's just too many assholes On a good day there's a bunch of assholes in here. On a bad day there's too many assholes in here.

Mouth calls 90% of the time, haven't found one I really don't like yet from houndstooth. Just keep em rotated. I hardly ever use my friction calls like slate, glass, or a box unless I'm desperate and it's late morning. What's funny is I keep buying them. Have been practicing more with a wingbone this year and I'll start using it more.

Slate or glass pot call and mouth call are my go to. I rarely if ever use a box, although I do own a half dozen or so of them.

1 mouth call, 1 slate call, couple of different strikers for the slate although I am quickly becoming partial to the birch one with the flared tip
I had to work through several different mouth calls before I found one that I like. 3 reed V cut is my go to now.

I’ve culled a few from the herd. I’ll have 2 slates and a mouth call in my vest. The “old” slate I like for “soft talk” is an old Lynch Jet Slate. You’d swear the sound is too low, but he can hear it.

I own probably 10 or 15 different mouth calls and boxes.
99% of the time I'm using either: 1 ghost cut mouth call and 1 trumpet

Too many Lynch jet slate and mouth the most - that slate is unique sound and can get really soft and low - houndstooth makes great mouth yelpers
Hunt the wind - leave it better than you found it - love your neighbor as you love your self We need prayer for our country now more than ever

I use a mouth yelper 99% of the time. I’m hard up when I start pulling out pot calls or a box.
