I don’t believe anything they report. Everybody played the voice recording of the 13 guards on snake island for days and now they say it isn’t true, never happened. They all reported about the ghost of Kivi, not true. I just don’t believe much on the TV.

They all reported about the ghost of Kivi, not true. I just don’t believe much on the TV. This. The only ones that have an accurate picture of the Russian casualties are the Russians. And there is no way I'm trusting their numbers. Ukrainians should have a good estimate, but that is all it is, an estimate. We have already seen the truthfulness of that reporting.

If those numbers are correct, John Rambo and Chuck Norris must be fighting with the Ukrainians. Best line yet! As others have stated I do not believe much of the news coming from our media.

I think Russia has had a hard fight is because Putin was trying not to destroy the infrastructure. In other words he has been holding back in my opinion. Everything that is destroyed will have to be built back by Putin if he succeeds in this war.

These are the latest numbers this morning and although many of us think the war is make believe and everyone is lying... ...Seeing how the Ukrainians are holding "The mighty Russian War Machine" back after a few weeks, and the fact that the Russians have not established air dominance, and despite the level of bombing haven't taken complete control of the major cities, I would tend to believe these numbers are more correct than not. So believe what you want to believe, but if these numbers are true, the Ukrainians are doing a hell of a job with what they have. Kudos to their fighting spirit. Russian forces may only be able to fight full strength for 10-14 days: report

Russian forces may only be able to keep fighting at full strength for another two weeks, a senior UK defense official told The Daily Mail, as stiff Ukrainian defense has stalled the Russian invasion, now in its third weeks.
After 10-14 days, the official said Russia’s offensive will struggle to make any further progress in Ukraine, as defense forces continue to hold out against nearly non-stop air raids and artillery shellings.
“Ukraine has Russia on the run. It is running out of manpower and running out of energy. As long as we keep pressing they’ve got ten to 14 days before reaching their culminating point,” the defense official told the Mail.
“That’s when the strength of Ukraine’s resistance should become greater than Russia’s attacking force.”

Food for thought:
When I was in high school, our football coach used to tell us all kinds of chit about the other teams. Things like, " they're bigger, stronger, faster" that were designed to motivate us. Looking back, I seem to remember that a lot of these teams that were supposed to be bigger, stronger, and faster were really none of those things. But it did the trick to make us play hard. I feel like a lot of the things we've been told about the Russian military might be exaggerated in much the same way. Many people tend to put in extra effort if they feel like they are the underdog.

Russia is asking the chinese for help because they only have a $80b military budget and half that is misappropriated/stolen. Now they need the chinese to bail them out.

Sinking a vessel isn’t that hard. Hell, I’ve sunk as many by myself as Ukraine is reporting. Granted, they were my own. It didn’t start out as “hostile action” but I was pretty hot by the time all was said and done.
And I can’t hold a candle to Geno, whose sinkings beat mine by a mile.
Jokes aside, this entire “war” stinks, like it’s a “made for TV” event.

I think both of you guys may be correct. The military budget issues can be supported by the actual flying time of the Russian pilots. They get less than half the flying time of American pilots. And in reality probably less than that. If they had more money the pilots would get more practice time. Which apparently they need. So if that UK defense official is correct then the Russians have just about shot their wad. I think it's become pretty obvious that Putin has been lied to by his general staff regarding their readiness, motivation and about the expected resistance of the Ukrainians. Wow... When you look at total military spending it's staggering how much the US spends vs other countries. India spends more than Russia does! Click for Military Spending...

Seems Putin bit off more than he can chew. This is a good thing because China is taking notes. IF those numbers are real - over 400 tanks and 1200 APC's is a huge number.

I have been thinking the exact same thing. I believe as Americans, we have been engrained with this idea of the mighty Russian military in part to justify our exorbitant military budgets every year. And now it seems the Russian military isn't so mighty after all.
