I use an Otis cleaning kit. The cables are coated and it has everything you need in it for rim fire all the way to .50 cal muzzle loaders. After multiple 'high end' cleaning kits, rods, etc, I'm now using Otis gear exclusively. Plus, I've got some older guns that I can't run a rod breech-to-muzzle that the Otis cable works great for (example, Remington 760 Gamemaster pump).
