Just saw this on Fox News. My first reaction is, this can't be right, but if it is, this is pretty unreal and Russia is bleeding pretty bad right about now. ![[Linked Image]](https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51924329905_5a94470706_o.jpg)

I’m just having a hard time believing anything. If Russia wanted to take Ukraine, they should have been able to do it in a day. This just seems kind of half assed.

I’m just having a hard time believing anything. If Russia wanted to take Ukraine, they should have been able to do it in a day. This just seems kind of half assed. It was half assed because Putin Delusions of Grandeur had him believing it would be that easy. That the Ukranians would throw down the 6.5 Creedmores and run at the first sight of a Russian flag. Putin also had the Russian soldiers convinced they would be liberators and welcomed as heroes by the Ukrainians. None of this happened due to Russian miscalculations so they, who have more might and certainly will eventually take over the country, are having to up their game as it goes along, so to speak. Like I said earlier, the real pain in the ass for the Russians is going to come after they take over and have to deal with insurgents and the UU (Ukrainian Underground).
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Over blown numbers I'm sure.

The Russian military is corrupt, unsupplied, and not well trained. Most of them don't want to be there and the Ukrainian's are fighting for their homes. Putin got himself in a quagmire that isn't ending anytime soon.

I agree with you guys, it seems unreal, but Fox News just had a Brigadier General on there saying the Russian officer corps is astonished at the losses they are taking.
Russia did announce a cease fire ostensibly for humanitarian purposes. So there's that.
Plus the US announced approval of the deal that would send F-16s to Poland so that Poland could release all their old MIG-29s to Ukraine. The Ukrainian pilots would be able to step right into the MIG's start fighting.

If those numbers are correct, John Rambo and Chuck Norris must be fighting with the Ukrainians.

I think there's a lot of truth to your post. Look at how the Iraqis and the Afgans were early on and then later turned out to be a bitch to hold on to. Point being, if the Ukrainians are this stiff now, when it turns into an insurgency it is going to be a Russian nightmare. The Ukraine people look like Russians and speak fluent Russian. It's going to be hard to tell a friend from an enemy.

More propaganda from Ukraine. They want their citizens to keep fighting and other countries to help by over inflating their resistance.
I doubt either side has an accurate accounting of losses due to the" fog of war". Russia should have a better idea with aerial photos, satellite images, intact command and control and analysts reviewing all data, but I wouldn't believe any numbers put out by Russia.

I’ve yet to see a picture or video of a wounded or killed soldier on either side

This would be huge.

Yet, through all the propaganda, the Russians just aren't making much progress. That is obvious. They are still trying to get ground measured in feet instead of having taken over the whole country in 48 hours as was first predicted and Zelinsky is still alive.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Where those mig's gonna land, refuel and re-arm? Ukraine didn't have but around a dozen airfields to start with. Most, if not all, have been destroyed. Along with the weaponry that was there. I understand the fight in the people, but one can't just land a mig-29 anywhere.
The harder I practice, the luckier I get.
