CNC, CWD is not prevalent enough to have ANY impact on the deer population in north AL. The state has been sampling for years. If it was causing die offs people would know.
When EHD outbreaks kill 10-15% of a population people find dead deer everywhere and report staggering deer around residences and highways.
CWD has nothing to do with those harvest numbers.
