Some hunting gear turns out to be just crap and some stands the test of time. What is your old or oldest piece of hunting gear you still routinely carry and use?

I still have and use a camo Fanny pack my dad gave me in probably 1989 or 90. If firearms count I have a few from the 50s and 60s.

I still have some old Mossy Oak shirts from early 90s my son wears. Had some Browning insulated underwear from early 90s too but they dissapeared last year.

I have a .270 Remington BDL I bought in 1977. I've upgraded the scope a few times but it's still my go to rifle. Also have an old full-face toboggan I bought when I was in high school that I still wear to this day on really cold mornings. It's been dropped and pulled out of my pockets by briars on more than one occasion but I always back track and find it.

With the exception of guns/bow - I have an OD sleep shirt (pullover - low temp) that I got in 85 while in the military. I wear it on cooler days with Under Armour underneath.

Plain Jane Remington Sportsman 78 in 3006, only gun I've shot a deer with in a long, long time. I know what happens when I put the crosshairs on one.

I’ve got a day pack I bought in 97-98. Saddle cloth. It looks brand new.
It goes fishing, hunting, even on vacation. It’s been to Costa Rica and I once packed everything I needed for a 4-day trip to NYC in it.
My wife said “you can’t get all your stuff in that.”
I said “you hide and watch.”

You didn't say deer hunting. My squirrel gun is a Winchester 74 bought by my granddaddy in 1956. He gave it to me when I was 9 so in 71. It was in such bad shape he didn't think it would ever shoot again. I cleaned it up and re-blued it and it is a squirrel killer. Several other critters too that needed killin. Did a good job on coons when I got the chance to go on those hunts. It will shoot .22 shorts or LR and feed both even mixed in the tube. Likely only thing I own that I consider not replaceable. If only for sentimental reasons.

Reversible toboggan (camo/hunter orange) that I’ve had for about 30 years.

Got a old duofold top I wear maybe once a year when it’s really cold. Got it when I duck hunted with my Dad 70-80. Still wear a old Duxback along sleeve T it’s about on its last breath thought.

I have a Case XX Shark Tooth knife that I bought in 1976 that I’ve skinned more deer with than I can count, still works like new. Got a cushion that snaps around your waist and a orange toboggan my dad gave me in the 80s.
I have hauled them hunting all over the county. They are a little worn but me and my grandkids use them all the time.

Does a 1954 Model 70 Featherweight count? Other than that, I’ve got a Böker skinning blade that’s at least 25-30yrs old.

I’ve had the same sling since I killed my first turkey, and it was old when my father gave it to me. I hunt with 3-4 different shotguns a season, but I usually swap that old sling between them

I got a browning triple blade knife I've carried for 20 years I broke the best blade on it last year, the dull end point for skinning, but the knife and saw blade is still handy

I have a couple buck knives that I've skinned a couple hundred critters with.
I'm still hunting with a rem 700 30-06 I purchased in 2002 . I have a hard time deer hunting with another rifle. Feels like I'm cheating on my wife when I take a different rifle.
I have a hunting pack I that's about 19 years old . She's showing her age but I can't find one to replace it with.
Then there's my old super elite turkey vest. Is faded and frayed but the turkey's don't mind.
