Turkey Trivia question: Who knows why it is a good management practice to harvest Gobblers BEFORE the poults are born? The ideal way to kill a turkey is to have him gobble and come to the call. That happens more reliably in the first 10 days of the season. That contributes to hunter satisfaction which results in trapping, burning and planting chufa. My hypothesis is just as valid as the one coming from Dr. Turkey.
