Last sit of the year.. its like the deer here in Henry County have not gone into rut yet. I have pics this week of does and bucks together eating at the feeders

My son is after a big 8 point that has eluded us all season. Saw him twice during bow season out of range. He was 30 yrds behind the last 8 pt I killed to finish out my 3 buck limit. I could have killed him but, I really want my son to get him. Had a pic of him yesterday so, we're fairly confident he's still alive.

Checked little man out of school for one last go at em. Had a 4pt in the field when we got here so hopefully they move.

I’m fixing the cord on my spotlight. I should be hitting someone’s place I don’t know in a little while. Is it legal to shoot while the truck is in drive?

I've slipped in watching a field edge and green field where I saw 5 does and 2 shooters chasing this morning before I had to leave for work.

5 slick heads and 1 buck. Couldn't tell how big he was, only could see white horns. I've gotta get a new/better set of binoculars. One last chance at them in the morning.

3 does was all we saw. Watched them for 45 minutes and no boys came out to play.

Saw a pile of deer. Had spikes running and mounting does just nothing to shoot. Got 2 at the taxidermist, a full freezer and my son killed his first. Don’t think I could have dreamt up a better season. Ready to put a hurtin on the speckled trout but really looking forward to October!
